Originally a single song I made for the Chiptune Cafe Autumn Jam; I turned it into a three-track short album. Fight through a boss battle against a fairy queen turned mad from her imprisonment as a false Goddess!

Here's the story below, where I based the song off of:

Your band of adventurers are tasked by the guilds to recover a contraband artifact that they suspect is being used in an Imperial temple far away. When you arrive at the temple, you find a most disturbing sight: A fairy queen is bound by chains in the centre of the temple. Her strength and spirit is being sapped by the artifact; you're almost certain of this. On both sides, you witness civilians and soldiers coming to pray and worship at the almost-comatose fairy.

The weary soldiers strike their spears against the fairy's body in an attempt to 'bless' their weapons with the Goddess of War; a desparate try at winning this unpopular war. The fairy queen, bound by the artifact and driven mad from the constant pain, has no choice but to endure their strikes against her. Your party confirms the artifact's powers and location in the inner sanctums; recovering it would certainly free the fairy and restore her power. However, in her state it may likely culminate in a fight!
